Once Upon a Time...

"Okay we came in her to find something for Sesshoumaru." Kagome says looking to Kikyou. "What do yo know about him so far?"

Kikyou just looked at her, "..............."

"Nothing?? Ugh man you two..." Kagome says shaking her head.

Ayame figures out what she wanted, she turned to Kouga, "have you decided what you wanted?"

"Yeah.." Kouga grumbles.

Hana trotted over to Ayame and Kouga while Akira hissed, "Hana! Get back here!" The other sister ignored her and said, "Excuse me?"

Shinki got into his car and sighed.

Ranka drove towards Bankotsu's house.

Ayame looked up at Hana, "Yeah?" Kouga just huffs crossing his arms, Ayame had irritated him.

Kagome points to a jewelry store, "How about that? Do you think he'd like jewelry?"

Kikyou sighs, "Why would I get him that? He's rich, I don't think it would impress him."

Bankotsu sat watching TV.

Hana asked, "You guys sit with my brother, right?"

She stopped in front of the house and parked, getting out of the car as she headed up the steps of his porch to ring the doorbell.

Ayame nods, "Yeah." Kouga looks on now curious.

Bankotsu turned off the TV and goes to open the door. He smirks, "Glad you could make it."

Hana said bluntly, "I want to break him up from Ranka. And I wanna know if you guys could help me."

She purred, "I'll always be able to make it."

"Um...uh..." Ayame blinks. "Are you sure that's good...I mean he seems happy with her."

Kouga snorts, "He's only happy with her because he doesn't know she opens her legs to just about any guy. She uses Shinki. It's practically clear to everyone but him."

"Well when you put it like that.." Ayame mumbles.

Bankotsu pulls her inside and starts kissing her and grabbing her ass, "Good, because I'm going to fuck you good." He says into her ear.

"Exactly!" Hana sighed. "I mean, he's so blind to what she does and she puts on this stupid little act in front of him. I just don't want him to finally realize everything right when it's too late and she's pregnant and he has to be involved in her life forever."

Ranka moaned a bit. "Good. I've been waiting for it all week."

Kouga made a face.

Ayame nods, "Alright, I'll help just because I like Shinki and I think he's a sweetheart."

Kouga looks to Ayame, "What's THAT supposed to mean?"

Ayame scowls, "That he's a nice person Kouga. Kami, jsut because I said that doesn't mean I automatically want him."

"Doesn't seem that way to me." Kouga frowns. "You're always being buddy-buddy with him. How do I kn-"

"Don't you dare finish that sentence, between you and taking care of my grandfather, school, and Asami I have no time to be doing anything like that. I'm not Ranka you know, you can trust me..." Ayame frowns.

Kouga sighs, "I'm sorry babe." He kisses her.

Ayame smiles, "It's okay love." She kisses him back before looking to Hana, "We'll most definitely help you."

Bankotsu pulls her into his room closing the door behind him. Within minutes clothes were flying as Bankotsu had Ranka's shirt open kissing the valley between her breasts.

Hana smiled. "Thanks. Please tell me if you see her doing something weird."

Ranka held his head and tilted her head back, sighing in content.

Ayame grins, "Will do." Kouga just pulls Ayame closer to him nibbling on her ear. Ayame smiles, "Stop that." She giggles.

Week before Winter Formal; Shiraga Household

Touga looks over to his mate, "I might have to interfere when it comes to Sesshoumaru and Kikyou." He frowns, "They don't seem to be making much...progress. Only doing the bare essentials of what is to be done"

"Grandpa are you doing alright?" Ayame says looking down at her grandfather worriedly. "You look so pale..."

"I'm as alright I can be Ayame-hime." Her grandfather rasps. "You just don't worry your pretty little head so much."

Emerald green eyes become glossy with unshed tears, "But grandpa...I'm worried about you."

"You just keep doing a good job with school and keeping up with Asami." He says giving a little smile. "You don't worry about an old man like me. Besides it's almost my time to go.."

"Don't say that!" Ayame says standing up taking his hand, "Grandpa....I don't know what I'm going to do without you...." Ayame fought her tears. "First daddy and then mom...I don't know if I can handle you leaving me too."

"Ayame look at me." Her grandfather says looking at her sternly with his aged eyes filled with wisdom. "I want you girls to live the best possible life that you can. I don't want ANYTHING hindering you from living your life to the fullest. Death is apart of life Ayame and that can't be avoided, so don't let that prevent you from doing what you love and most certainly don't let it prevent you from loving. And yes you may grieve for a little but I don't want you stop your life. Because believe it or not my hime the world still goes on regardless of tragedies, but only the strongest can trudge on and conquer. I want you to conquer life Ayame. I want you to succeed and I want you live out your dream. You still want to be a designer right?"

Ayame nods wiping her tears, "Yes."

He smiles, "I believe you can do it. Just remember to never let anything hold you back. Not me, not your sister, and most definitely not a man."

Ayame nods, "I understand grandpa." She leans down and kisses his forehead.

He smiles, "Good, now go get me my prune juice." Ayame laughs and goes to get his beloved drink.

Kouga's Car

Kouga sat parked outside of Ranka's house, he frowns, "When is this girl going to come on? I swear Ayame never made me wait this long."

Setsuna snorted. "It's pretty pathetic."

Ranka came out of her house and trotted down, getting into his car. "Hello," she purred.

Touga stands, "I think I'm going to have a talk with him now."

Kouga looks her body up and down, "Hey." He smirks.

Sesshoumaru was reading.

Ranka asked, "What do you wanna do?"

Touga walks to Sesshoumaru's room and knocks on the door. "Sesshoumaru I need to have a word with you."

"Go back to my place." Kouga smirks. "My parents are out of town."

Sesshoumaru looked up from his books. "Yes...?"

"I'd love to," she grinned.

Touga walked into Sesshoumaru's room and sat at the foot of his bed, "Son, how exactly is the relationship with you and Kikyou coming along?"

Kouga took Ranka back to his place, "You have no idea what I'm going to do to you in my bedroom." Kouga smirked.

"I presume it is decent."

"Have you spoken to her lately? Taken her out on a date? Anything involving some form of communication?" Touga inquired.

"I speak to her and we sit at the same table during lunch," he told his father. "At the moment, it's the best I can do."

Touga spotted Sesshoumaru's phone and tossed it to him, "Call her. Tell her you want to take her out on a date this evening."

"Excuse me?" he asked, bewildered as he caught it in his hands.

"Call her and ask her out tonight." Touga replied. "You're not being as aggressive as you should in pursuing your intended."
