Inuyasha grumbled, "Ask her out already and get it over with."

Hana and Sango both shook their heads at him.

"I'll ask her when you ask Kagome. Quit tip-toeing." Miroku grins.

Kikyou glares at Jae. "Bye." Jae frowns, "But Kikyou.." Kikyou continues to glare. Jae sighs and picks his things up, "I'm going to class."

Kagome shakes her head, "He wouldn't be so bad if he didn't have that foot in mouth syndrome."

Inuyasha grunted. "As if."

Shinki teased Inuyasha, "What? Afraid that you'll offend your ex- by going after her sister?"

"Shut up, fox."

"I agree," Sango said. Hana hung over Kagome. "This suuuuuuuuuucks. The holidays are coming up and all I'm gonna be doing is working."

Miroku grins, "You should go for it, especially since you and Kikyou-sama have an understanding."

"Just ask her out mutt and try not to be a bitch about it." Kouga says to Inuyasha.

"I wish you could come Hana. It's no fair you have to work while we all just kick back and relax." Kagome replies.

"Keh. Whatever. Just get off my back."

Shinki laughed.

Hana shook her head. "I shouldn't intrude."

Miroku shakes his head.

Kouga rolls his eyes, "Dumb mutt."

"Aw you should come. I would feel so bad, and you deserve to get away from your siblings. Especially Akira." Kagome replies.

Shinki shook his head.

Hana sighed. "I don't know. Can we talk about this when I go over?"

Lunch period ended and they went home. Now the next day after school.

(Wu Household)

"Dad you know Hana's coming over today, do something with yourself." Kagome says throwing him a shirt. "Go put that on!"

"Kagome I'm working out it gets too hot to..." He stops seeing her stern look. "Okay fine I'll put it on." He grumbles.

(Higurashi Shrine)

Kikyou sweeps the shrine area thinking, "Good thing I decided to come to the shrine a day earlier....I don't think I can handle that girl being in my house. It's already bad enough she sits at my table and is friends with Kagome." She gives a silently sigh, "I wish I wasn't who I was. I want the freedom to be with who I want to be with...and it isn't Sesshoumaru. He's nothing like Inuyasha. Nothing at all."

(Kobayashi Home)

Onigumo stared down his son, "Naraku how many times do I have to tell you? If you're going to harass and blackmail someone at least be discreet. How can you take over the business letting the world know what you're up to?"

Naraku sighed, the speech again.

(Yamamoto Residence)

Ayame laid her head on Kouga's chest as they watched a movie in her room. "Seriously, do we have to watch these gory movies?"

Kouga looks down at Ayame, "Are you crazy? Iris these movies are classics."

Ayame shakes her head and just enjoys his presence.

Akira sat on her bed. "Are you sure they're not taking you in forever?"

Hana glared at her. "You'd like that wouldn't you?"

"Of course. I get my own room and I get rid of your annoying ass." Hana rolled her eyes and grabbed her night-bag and her laptop case.

"See you tomorrow," she said as she walked out the room. Hana passed Shinki's room and knocked on it. "Stop making out with Ranka and get your ass downstairs!"

Shinki jumped in surprise and pulled away from her, coughing. Ranka scowled. She really didn't like his sister. "Sorry, Ran. I have to go take my sister." She trailed her hand down his chest.

"Hurry back."

Shinki smiled. "I will." He left.

Ranka immediately pulled out her cell phone and started to text once he was gone.

-(Shiraga Household)-

Sesshoumaru sighed once he was in his room after some late studies. This situation... It's tiresome. Were it possible to inherit without being forced to marry? He'd love to find out...

In Inuyasha's room, the owner was contemplating about the fact that, here he was, and he was dateless. In the old days, he'd have Kikyou over and they'd do something. He scowled. But of course that bastard, Sesshoumaru, takes everything that I want. Asshole... Just because he's older doesn't mean he's anything special...

Kagome got her outlines, notes, and index cards out preparing for the study sleep over.

( Higarashi Shrine )

Kikyou continues to sweep. "I miss Inuyasha....but I have to do my duty as a daughter and as the heir of China..." Kikyou bites her bottom lip, a habit that she does when thinking in private, "And I don't know how to warm up to Sesshoumaru...his personality is very similar to mine. I'm reserved, he's reserved. I'm not Hana. But I'd at least like to feel something for him eventually."

( Kumori House )

"Oh my God! Where is my pink cardigan?" Jakotsu says running around frantically searching around Bankotsu in the room they shared.

"Jak I don't know, I don't wear that kind of shit." Bankotsu says texting Ranka.

-(In front of the Wu Household)-

Hana rang the doorbell. Shinki ruffled Hana's hair. "Have fun and don't stay up too late." She shooed off his hand.

"What are you? Dad?" He grinned at her.

"No, but I do worry about my sister."

"Cute. Now go away!" He laughed and hugged her before walking away.

-(Watanabe Household)-

Akira leaned against the doorway of Shinki's room, staring at Ranka. Ranka sent her text and looked up. "Yes?"

"Fifty bucks says that you didn't send that text to my brother."

"..." They stared at each other. Ranka finally spoke. "And if it wasn't to him? What's it any of your business?"

She shrugged. "It isn't. But if you're going to be a little whore, I'd appreciate it if you did it somewhere else and stopped dragging him around like he's a toy."

"What do you care? You do the same thing to other boys."

"I don't date them for three years and then play them behind their backs," she pointed out arrogantly with a tone of boredom and disgust. "You really are just a common whore. No class. Simply screwing and chasing anything with a dick."

She looked offended. "Like you're one to talk!"

She smirked coyly. "Unlike you, I have class and I have standards." She turned and said over her shoulder as she walked back to her room, "Text Bankotsu a hello from me."

( Wu Household )

Kagome opened the door and glomped Hana, "Hey!"

( Kumori House )

Jak looks at Bankotsu annoyed, "Look could you stop texting whatever slut you're talking to and just help me find it. I have to look absolutely chic at this interview."

"What makes you think whoever it is, is a slut?" Bankotsu questioned.

Jak rolled his eyes, "What kind of question is that? Any woman who respects herself enough would avoid you. You're a man hoe, so only a slut would consider talking to you. Duhh."

Bankotsu stood up and smirked, "Point taken."

Hana grinned and hugged her back tightly. "Hey!"

A few minutes after Ranka and Akira's exchange, Shinki got home and went upstairs. When she heard him, Ranka immediately hid her phone and relaxed. Shinki walked in. "Hey there," he smiled.

"Hi," she smiled back. He walked over and lay down beside her, hugging her. Ranka ran her fingers through his hair. "Baby, your sisters are so mean to me," she told him sadly, burying her face in his chest.

He frowned. "What'd they do?"

"Akira came in while you were gone and she started saying all sorts of mean things to me," she sniffed, trembling a little.

"Shh..." he soothed, holding her close and kissing her neck. "I'll talk to her, alright?"

"Thank you..."

Kagome grins and lets her enter the house, "So I pretty much have everything set up so we can get started, oh and Chinese? Or Pizza?"

(Shiraga Household)

Touga walks up behind his mate and wraps his arms around her waist with his chin resting on her right shoulder, "Hello beautiful."

Hana grinned. "Let's spoil ourselves. Chinese."

-(Shiraga)-

Setsuna felt him wrapping himself around her and smiled a bit. "Hello."

Kagome grins, "Nice, my favorite kind of food."

Touga kisses her neck, "How's my mate?" He says with a small smile.

Hana smiled and put her things down once they were in Kagome's room.

"Fine," she replied, resting her hands on his arms. "Better now."

Kagome grins and goes to sit on a big plushy pillow she had sat out for them. "Do you have an idea of what she was talking about in the chapter?"

Touga kisses her cheek, "Better? Was something wrong before?"

"Somewhat," Hana said, having a seat.

"No," she said, turning around and hugging him. "It's just that you made my day better."

"Okay." Kagome starts pulling out papers. "Hey why are you reluctant to come on the trip?"

Touga smiles and kisses her, "Well that's good."

"We'll talk about that when the food gets here. We should seriously get to this!" Hana said. "I'm not looking forward to failing this!"

Setsuna kissed him. "It is."

Kagome nods and claps her hands, "Okay! Let's tackle this math."

Touga continues to kiss her and pulls her a little closer.

Hana laughed and picked up the notes.

Setsuna held him a little more.

"Mommy? Daddy?" Tsukikomaru stood at the doorway, sucking his thumb. It was a habit he hadn't thrown yet.

Three hours later...

Kagome puts her pen down and massages her aching hand, "Man I need a break now."

Touga pulled away and smiles at his youngest son, "Hey Tsuki."

Hana fell back and groaned. "Is that food here yet?"

Setsuna asked, "Is something wrong?"

Tsukikomaru looked around and whispered, "There are monsters in my closet!"
